This sermon continues on the topic: “Trusting in God to Manifest His Kingdom.” Building upon last week’s discussion, we reflect on the key text from John 14:1-6, where Jesus reassures His disciples not to be troubled, encouraging them to believe in both God and Himself. The sermon emphasises the Greek term for belief, “pisteuo,” which signifies being persuaded and placing confidence in God’s promises amidst life’s uncertainties.
As we navigate through the complexities of faith, we explore the significance of understanding the Kingdom of God as a spiritual reality rather than a physical location. The message challenges us to recognise our identity in Christ and the transformative power of our faith, urging us to manifest the Kingdom in our daily lives. We also reflect on the importance of continuous learning and growth through the teaching of God’s Word, which solidifies our identity as believers and enables us to live out our faith effectively.
