As we dissect Genesis 1 and 2, we challenge traditional interpretations of the term “helper,” often associated with women, by examining the original Hebrew meanings and their implications. The discussion sheds light on God as the ultimate helper and rescuer, rather than framing women solely in a supportive role. We reflect on the significance of understanding our identity in Christ and the equal value that both men and women hold in God’s eyes.
