What is the image of God?

The first man when he was created, was he created in the image of God?

How does man come into the image of God?

The tree of life, leads to life

The tree of knowledge of good and evil leads to death

It is important to note here, moses is communicating god’s plan an adopt a figure of speech, to communicate god’s promise of life to the world, and the consequences of not choosing life, which is death.

Since it is an allegory, we must ask, what did moses mean by eat of?

So, the obedience of Christ, makes many righteous by faith! when we believe we come into God’s image and likeness, we become like Christ, in character and in Nature.

Thus, Genesis 1:26-28 is fulfilled in Christ, the last Adam, the one that gives us His nature by faith and from there we walk in dominion!

the male and female in Genesis now, would be male and female in Christ, Humanity in Christ in the Last Adam! the new creation, today and forever! found in God’s glorious image and likeness
