In this episode, we begin Part 15 of our ongoing series, Issues About Women’s Liberty, as we explore God’s original intention in creating the woman.
We take a closer look at Jesus’ response to the Pharisees in Matthew 19:1–8, where He reveals that divorce, “putting away”, was introduced because of sin. But from the beginning, it was not so. We then return to the Genesis creation account (Genesis 1:26–27), the very beginning to which Jesus directed the Pharisees. There, we saw that both man and woman were made in the image of God, affirming that God’s intention for creating the woman was the same as His intention for creating the man.
